Detox is a sub-acute medical detoxification center benefitting the eleven county metropolitan area and numerous counties surrounding Crow Wing County in Minnesota. The centers serve male and female patients, ages twelve and older, in two staffed units in Hastings, and 1 Co-ed unit in Brainerd. Our 10 bed female unit in Hastings has been remodeled to better meet the patients' needs. The average length of stay for most patients is 2-3 days.
Program
Detox's primary focus is to provide medical withdrawal management and other non-acute evaluations. Each patient is assessed for chemical use problems and behavioral health issues. Patients meet individually with a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to develop an ongoing care plan and referral to the appropriate level of care.
Upon discharge, each patient receives their individual care plan and referral recommendation.

Financial Information
Private or county funds may pay for services. Some charges are on a sliding fee scale, based on ability to pay. Intake staff can answer questions about insurance coverage and financial arrangements.
Admission
Patients may be admitted to the center seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Clinical staff members meet with patients to discuss medical and chemical use history. Other family or community professionals may be involved in this process.
